What if supporting mental health could look at the whole person?

Our wellbeing is influenced by so much more than what happens inside a therapy room; our lifestyle, relationships, environment, experiences of trauma, communities, sense of meaning and belonging, and our relationship with the natural world.

Nature Based Therapy invites us to look at the person as a whole, and to explore the relationship between self, others and nature.

In this free live webinar, Kit will introduce you to a more holistic way of thinking about human health and wellbeing and how these ideas can be brought into both professional practice and everyday life.

What You'll Explore

During our hour together, Kit will introduce you to:

A holistic approach to mental health

Explore wellbeing beyond symptoms and diagnoses and consider the wider influences shaping how we feel, live and connect.

The 8 Dimensions of Wellbeing

Discover how emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, occupational and financial wellbeing interact.

Nature Based Therapy

Discover why Nature Based Therapy is about much more than simply taking therapy outdoors, and how nature can become a teacher, therapeutic partner and source of connection.

Lifestyle, trauma and environment

Explore how our experiences, lifestyle, relationships and environments can influence our overall wellbeing.

Connection with self, others and nature

Consider the role connection, identity, purpose, meaning and belonging can play in supporting wellbeing.

Who Is This Webinar For?

This webinar is for you if you're a:

  • Social worker
  • Counsellor or therapist
  • Psychologist
  • Community services professional
  • Allied health practitioner
  • Educator
  • Coach
  • Wellbeing practitioner
  • Healthcare professional
  • Student or emerging practitioner

But you don't need to be a therapist. Perhaps you're simply an everyday human who cares deeply about people, wellbeing and making a difference in the world, and you're curious about where that could lead.

You don't need previous Nature Based Therapy experience. You simply need to be curious about another way of supporting human wellbeing.

Meet Kit Kline

Founder of Nature Based Therapy

Kit Kline is a social worker, therapeutic counsellor, clinical supervisor, trainer and founder of Nature Based Therapy.

Her work brings together experience across mental health, community services, holistic health, Indigenous studies, trauma-informed practice and nature-based approaches to wellbeing.

Through NBT, Kit encourages practitioners to look beyond the presenting problem and consider the whole person; their experiences, relationships, environment, identity, purpose, and connection to the natural world.

During this live webinar, you'll have the opportunity to learn directly from Kit, experience her approach and ask your questions.

More Than Professional Development

Toward the end of the webinar, Kit will briefly introduce the Advanced Accreditation in Nature Based Therapy and the learning pathways available for those who feel called to go further.

This is a 12-month online training designed for practitioners and individuals who want to deepen their understanding of holistic, nature-based approaches to wellbeing. You’ll get a sense of what the program involves, how it is structured, and the different ways you can study online at your own pace.

There is absolutely no pressure to enrol. This session is simply an opportunity to explore the approach, meet Kit, and see whether this way of learning and working resonates with you.

Could This Be Your Next Step?

Maybe you're looking for new ways to support the people you work with. Maybe you're questioning whether there is more to mental health than the traditional approaches you've encountered. Or perhaps you're at a point in your own journey where you're ready to learn, reconnect and explore a new direction. Come and discover another way.
